The client is a global network of experts providing integrated design, engineering, construction, and professional services to clients and communities. The client’s team translates its vision and mission of supporting efficient operations and ensuring optimal patient experience to develop specific yet flexible physical solutions to achieve goals and priorities in an ever-changing healthcare environment.
The client wanted to provide their customers with access to Power BI dashboards and reports. They aimed to build a customer-facing web portal that would provide users with insights into a surgery/operating room data set.
In addition to the customer-facing portal, they also wished to create an Admin Portal that would allow them to manage user access to Power BI reports and dashboards. The Admin Portal would serve as a centralized platform for user management, access assignment, and user audit.
In addition, the client required another portal for Power BI report viewing, where users could log in and view their Power BI reports. With these portals in place, the client aimed to provide its customers with a seamless and user-friendly experience that would allow them to make informed decisions based on the data presented to them.

Xoriant’s deep expertise in Power Apps enabled us to design and develop a customer facing web portal that enabled the client to view and analyze surgery/operating room data. The solution includes various components to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for both the client and the users.
One of the primary components of the solution is the tenant provisioning feature, which allows for the creation and management of tenants and tenant-level configurations. This feature enabled the client to manage their users and simplify access to reports efficiently.
Additionally, the solution includes a tenant portal admin for tenant-specific user management, providing an interface for healthcare institutes to manage their users and permissions easily. With role-based user access, the solution enables users to view Power BI reports and provide user with two roles:
- Member Role: Allows users to use the export features to get more insights from the data
- Viewer Role: Allows users to only view the report
Overall, the solution provided a seamless user experience, enabling the client and its customers to access the data they need, manage their users and permissions, and gain insights from the data.
