Ervins Grinfelds

TestDevLab Co-Founder and Co-CEO Ervins Grīnfelds brings over two decades of experience in software engineering, product delivery, and quality assurance leadership across Europe and global technology markets. He has a proven track record in building high-performing engineering teams, managing large-scale software programmes, and delivering quality solutions across mobile, web, and enterprise platforms.

At TestDevLab, a Xoriant company, Ervins leads the organisation's operations across six European countries, overseeing a team of 500 quality engineering professionals. He is responsible for driving the company's service delivery excellence, expanding its capabilities in test automation, performance testing, and AI quality assurance, and ensuring continued growth within the Xoriant portfolio for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.

Ervins co-founded TestDevLab in Riga, Latvia in 2011, growing it into an internationally recognised software quality assurance company trusted by clients including Microsoft, Twilio, Zoom, and Orange. Under his leadership, TestDevLab built specialist capabilities spanning mobile, desktop, web, and backend testing, as well as custom laboratories for audio and video quality, battery and data consumption testing, and network simulation.

Prior to co-founding TestDevLab, Ervins served as Senior Product Engineering Manager at Microsoft for over four years, where he led Skype mobile product delivery across Android, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and BREW platforms, working closely with global OEM and operator partners including Verizon Wireless and KDDI. Before Microsoft, he held Technical Project Manager and QA Engineer roles at Skype, where he defined software development principles, established QA processes, and managed mobile platform deliveries across multiple product lines.

Ervins holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Latvijas Universitāte and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ventspils University of Applied Sciences. He is based in Riga, Latvia.
