Xoriant In-House Counsel Kalpen Shah comes with a solid 16 years of experience in legal strategy and a balance of legal expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to navigate the rapidly evolving technology landscape.

At Xoriant, Kalpen heads the legal department. Leveraging his profound understanding of the intricate legal landscape in the technology sector, he plays a pivotal role in steering the organization’s legal initiatives towards growth, compliance, and innovation.

Before joining Xoriant, Kalpen worked with Smith, Buss & Jacobs LLP, where he excelled in overseeing commercial and residential property transactions. His expertise extended to counseling clients on matters related to compliance with regulations, compliance risk, and corporate governance issues. Prior to this, he worked with IBM Global Services and made significant contributions through valuable business and technology advisory services to clients.

Kalpen holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.S. in Finance and Information Systems from NYU's Stern School of Business. He currently resides with his family in the Bay Area, California.
