Job Title: Software Test Engineer
Location: Xoriant Corporation, 1248 Reamwood Avenue, Sunnyvale CA 94089
Job Duties:
Test software, requirements and report defects to stakeholders and re-test resolved defects. Create and assist in creating test plans, generate test cases and test automation. Procure test data and set up required test beds. Test software releases by executing the assigned tests. Update test cases based on the discovered defects, update test automation based on the updated test cases and provide inputs to the team in order to improve the test process. Report work progress and problems faced to the Test Lead or Project Manager. Interact with clients to understand product requirements. Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. Design test plans, procedures, scenarios, and scripts to accurately assess new products or software updates. Design and implement automated testing tools and update tools as needed to ensure currency and accuracy.
Job Requirements:
Require Bachelor’s Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems or related field. Require five (5) years of experience as Sr. Test Engineer, Software Engineer, Test Engineer, Java Developer, Sr. Project Lead, Project Manager, Software Consultant or related. Must have at least 1 yr. of experience using any three of following technologies: JAVA, Selenium, C++, Bugzilla, RESTful APIs, Agile, Spring Boot, Python, SQL, Scrum, SoapUI, HTML, JSON, javascript. Require travel/relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
