Device Level Testing

With a plethora of devices flooding the market, ISVs need to ensure that they provide touch point applications for all the devices (that are available for all of their end-customers). To ensure this Xoriant provides performance testing, screen size & appearance, and conformity to common key functions, memory consumption, battery usage and device certification.

Browser and Data Level Testing

This category includes testing applications for all popular mobile browsers like Opera Mini, MSafari, etc and collecting metrics like headers, request/response, and performance numbers. Xoriant uses the concept of User Agent (MIME types) to ensure UI compatibility across multiple browsers. Xoriant also utilizes inbuilt browser capabilities for superior doc and multimedia support.

Network & Carrier Testing

The mobile application should work across different networks (CDMA 2000, GSM, W-CDMA, GPRS etc.) and multiple carriers especially the ones used in target countries. Testing for multiple combinations of carrier and network is an important part of mobile test services. Network and carrier testing is performed using the HttpWatch & Device Anywhere tools including on-device testing.
